VOCAD provides job oriented courses through Certification and Diploma programs for the service sector.
VOCAD 's objective is to bridge the skill gaps in the service industry through an approach similar to ITI (Industrial Training Institutes), which assist the manufacturing industry. It will help students to become Semi-Skilled from unskilled , Skilled from semi-skilled and place them with Corporates and in Businesses so as to enable the students to be 1st day /1st hour job ready. VOCAD aims to bridge the gap between "Bharat - where manpower is available" and "India Inc – where jobs are available.
VOCAD 's vision is to become a Job Xchange between the students and the corporates.
To realize this vision, VOCAD would set up Learning centers for job oriented vocational courses in every district of the country over the next 5 to 7 years. It will also train and certify existing employees of corporates and businesses in India, and improve their future by transforming them into a better skilled work force. VOCAD will set up a full-fledged placement cell to develop a Job Xchange for students and to the Corporates/ Businesses. |
